Where Bloggers Create

Brenda at thebrendablog is hosting a Where Bloggers Create Party this week. Visit her for peeks at spots where bloggers create.
This is my computer desk in my breakfast room. This is one of the few new pieces of furniture I have bought new. It has lots of storage and a built in file drawer.

It's not that I don't like it, but if I had it to do over again I wouldn't get this large of a piece of furniture for my desk. Actually we bought it to go in a room in the house we were in before here. I think it's too big for the room, but I know I would never be able to sell it for anything near what we paid for it.
Thanks for stopping by and peeking at my blogging area!

Good Morning Diane,
I LOVE your desk. As a matter of fact, hubby and I were talking about getting a new one. I would like one with cabinets and such to hide a bunch of the "desky" stuff. Yours looks lovely.

It is a beautiful desk!!!! I bought mine for $129 and the "wood" contact paper is peeling off LOL! Your piece is gorgeous. I think I would like sitting at it and working. I'd feel regal!

take care,

I absolutely love your desk! I know you're right though...we can never sell furniture for anything near what we bought it for or what we feel it's worth. It was fun to see where the magic comes from in your blog! Cindy

I think that is a gorgeous piece of furniture...I'd kill for all that storage in my computer area...I have no doors so you can see all my junk junk junk everywhere!

Fantastic desk! Did you straighten up for that photo, or are you always that neat? I hope someone sloppy like me gets in on the event, I don't want to be the messiest! Your creative spot is lovely!

Diane, I am catching up with my comment and visits. I have been gone all day every day this week. I love your desk, My dh has a nice desk in his 'cave' and matching furniture to go with it. But both of us sit in the livingroom with our laptops and I don't even know how to use a mouse. Well, I know how, but I am not used to it. I would love to sit at a desk like yours and blog. sigh.

Hugs, jeanne

I fervently wish I had a spot like that that would cover up all the dangling wires you see underneath my desk. Don't know what I was thinking buying a glass desk!

What a nice spot to work and play. I love desks. There is just something about a rich looking desk, all tidy and organized, that I just love. I can really get to work in a place like that. Too bad for me that I have a laptop, so no desk, just my lap. LOL
