2nd Time Around Tuesday: An old auditorium seat

Welcome to 2nd Time Around Tuesday. If you have a second hand treasure you would like to share, please copy and paste the link to your post in Mr. Linky below.

This week I would like to show you another one of the 2nd hand treasures I bought at the Green Door Antiques that I told you about last week. This auditorium seat was one of the first purchases I made there. It has a home right by my front door, and is great for extra seating when needed. The piece is tiger oak and was already refinished. It also folds up for easy storage.
From another view.....
I'm scheduling this post ahead of time since I will be out of town this Tuesday, and may not have access to a computer. Let's just hope that Mr. Linky cooperates! I'll be sure to visit you when I return!

Thanks for stopping by and for being a part of 2nd Time Around on Tuesday.

OH, Diane, these seats are so pretty! Tiger Oak? Sure glad you didn't slap some paint on these puppies! I looked down and saw your happy birthday to your Mama! Oh, wasn't she a darling little thing? A very pretty young woman too.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Oh I looovvvveeee these chairs! GREAT find! I'd scoop them up in a heartbeat. I saw some old auditorium chairs in Philadelphia this fall when I was on a business trip...and was trying to figure a way to bring them on the train home. :-)

I think...I will see you on Tuesday. Yay, NYC trip!

Diane, I didn't have time to get a post for your Tuesday event. I'm sorry. Next week I will join in again. I love your auditorium seats and the finish is so nice. I also love that they can fold up.

I made a comment on your previous post in case you don't look back.

I love these seats! I couldn't wait to get over here when I saw your title, because I have some auditorium seats (taking up space in the storage room). Mine are not nearly as pretty as yours (they are from a school auditorium). laurie
