Snow in Mississippi

When it snows here, pretty much everything shuts down! Schools close, offices, etc. all close early. People down here don’t know how to drive in the snow, and often those that do slide off the road!

I love the snow, and think it is beautiful, but I’m so glad we don’t have to deal with it on a regular basis!

Here’s some snow pics around my house:

I’ve had to stay home today…so I’ve gotten lots done! Busy making crafts for my Etsy shop, and my flea market booth!

Thanks for stopping by!

I like the one with the chairs and table most of all. I sure didn't get any painting done..that is what I'd planned but....you know the saying....the best laid plans of mice and man......

Hi Diane!

It looks like a winter wonderland there! Your house photo would make a lovely Chtistmas card :-)

We had a foot of snow during the week and the next day it was "life as usual" in NYC. I have to admit the city doesa great job with snow removal! More snow coming this week --it's a rough winter so far!

Hugs, Pat

PS Tickets to Dr. Oz are easy to get --next time you come to NYC let's try to go together!

How pretty! My mom said that 49 out of the 50 states got snow. That's hard to believe! We live up north, so we're used to it. My parents are leaving Wed. for vacation in Hilton Head... they're not very happy that there's snow at Hilton Head too!

Mississippi will always be home to me. I was born there, but have been a Texan since 1969. Still love MS though. The snow is fab.
