2nd Time Around: Shelves Made from Old Fencing

Welcome to 2nd Time Around. Please join us by linking a post that features something that is a 2nd Time Around to you…something from a garage sale, flea market, thrift store, estate sale, etc. Please link your post rather than your blog, and link back to this blog. Thank you for participating.

I found this adorable shelf this week at the Antique Mall in Meridian. It was bought by the owner from an old store and estate that had been shut up for over 25 years! They said that the shelf was hand made from an old fence. For now I’m enjoying it on my screened porch. Later, I may use it as display at one of my booths!

We just did some fence repair and have a bunch of old pickets. I am going to rescue them from the landfill and try my hand at building a shelf like this one! Thank you for hosting this fun party!

I've thought of making a headboard out of pickets before...Nice job on the shelf!

Hi Diane, thank you for your sweet comment on PS. We are still out of town so this comment is belated. Beverly read your comment to me and she says HI back. Smile.

You know I love this cute shelf out of fence pieces. Very clever idea.
Have a great week. I probably won't get a post done for Tues. Next week we will be back home.

Have a great week.
XO, Jeanne
