Pink Saturday

Looking at blogs brought me to How Sweet the Sound. She hosts Pink Saturday. What a fun way to get to know other bloggers! You just send her your blog link, and she will link your 'pink' picture on her site.

My 'Pink Saturday' picture:

The pink jar is a bug jar that I keep on my screened porch. I bought it at the White Elephant Antique shop in Mentone, Alabama. I think it is new though! I have a lilac one too. It has a hole in the bottom, and the bugs are supposed to get trapped and not get out. Not much good for catching bugs, but looks cute on the porch!

Diane, Your porch birdhouse and pink jar are very sweet. I don't think I have ever seen a bug house. It does kind of look like a bee hive. Very cute.

Thanks for looking in on my pink paperweights. It is a fun thing to collect. I can't buy anymore there is no room at the inn, so to speak.

Have a happy pink day.

Hello! I read "white elephant antique" and thought you were in Texas! There is one in Dallas. Love the bug jar, but would probably hate cleaning it out! LOL xoxo, Joanna

Hey Diane, thanks for vistin' me at Sugarplum Cottage. I do believe you might want to put some sugar water in that jar to caught the insects, of course your gonna have a trail of ants too. You know I am in love with the color pink and a pink bug catcher is one pink thing I don't have. Might have to join Pink Saturday. I love dinner
