Personally, I have lost a first cousin and a friend to the disease. I've got several friends that have won the battle and are in remission! Hopefully in the near future, there will be a complete cure.

What a wonderful cause! I love the shoes. If I had pink clothes to wear with them I would consider buying them. They show off hand knit socks very nicely!!!

Well, I'm thinking: duh! Here I've been seeing all this pink stuff on Saturdays for months, and I didn't realize it was for breast cancer awareness! I can't believe I didn't tie it together. So thank you for kicking me in the butt! I thought, well, it's a shabby chic thing or something. I have been fortunate in not losing anyone close to this disease. And I don't know if I have one pink thing in the whole house, but now I get the picture!
