Pink guessing game

Here's a guessing game for Pink Saturday? Can you guess where this pink flower is?

  • on an apron
  • on a tablecloth
  • on a bedspread
  • none of the above

Scroll down...

Here it is...on my doorway ironing board cover!

I love having this ironing board next to our bedroom. We have another upstairs that stays up in the guest room all the time. But this one is so convienent! I bought it at Walmart, then found another one for my son to use at college at a yard sale!

Hope everyone has a happy Pink Saturday.

Thanks Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for doing this! Please visit her for other Pink Saturday posts!

  2. What a fun post! I need a new ironing board cover so bad. One blogger last week posted a photo of her new cover. She bought it from an Etsy member who makes them. :) Have a super great day. ~ Lynn

  4. Okay, now that is just too handy! We have one "built in" in the laundry room, but I need one like that for the bedroom! I'm glad you shared this...I'll have to pick one up on my next trip to Wal-mart!

Hope you are having a great weekend! Hugs, Rhonda :)

  5. Wow...I finally got thru here....I have been trying all morning to get to your blog and the internet wouldn't let me come here and several other blogs were blocked! I was totally surprised to see that on a ironing board. I thought maybe an vintage tablecloth...but I have definitly got to get one of those door ironing boards things for when I learn to sew! lol Cause I don't do ironing! If it doesn't come out of the dryer without wrinkles it doesn't live in this house! lol I use to starch & iron myself to death on Bill's uniforms when he was in the Air Force...after that I threw the iron and ironing board out! lol Have a great weekend girl! Oh where did you find that door ironing board? Just in case! lol

  6. Yes, I am finally able to post. Internet explorer wouldn't let me open your blog! No, I wouldn't have guessed ironing board. It's looks like it's very handy where you have it. I have a basket full of ironing to do, but since it's pink Saturday I know I won't get to it today.

    Happy Pink Saturday!

    take care,
    Dawn

  11. Now that would make ironing more (choke) fun. LOL! I do not iron...I send out my hubby's shirts to the cleaners. I am so bad!
Growing up in an old 40s home, the ironing board was in the kitchen in a little "closet" of sorts. So cute. I remember my mother ironing linens and my dad's shirts there...thank you so much for jogging a happy memory.

  13. That's darling.

Almost makes me want to get an ironing board and iron...nah! lol ;)

I have been married for 17 years and have never ironed in all of those years and probably even a few before that. I guess we all have our 'things' and mine is ironing ;)

    Have a great weekend :)

  16. That is such a great gadget!

I have sliding doors on the closet in my bedroom so I can't use something like that. mY laundry room is in my basement so I iron down there and then carry it all up two flights of stairs. I don't know why I'm not thin...lol!

    Hugs, Pat

  17. Hi Diane! It's Saturday night and I'm bloggin! Tell me I'm not boring!!lol I love all your paint projects. Love the change on all. Every time I see Connor I wish I had his hair color - gorgeous! I was trying to figure out what to do with my ironing board upstairs. My linen closet is right outside my master and this would be a great solution! Thanks - Hope Wallie still has them! Have a great Sunday, Jeannette

  22. Lovely PINK SATURDAY to you, too!! Love the ironing board ~ if you have to have one...why not make it a pretty one?

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look at my skylights! I surprised Tom by painting them and HE absolutely LOVES them, like I do.

I specifically ordered the 2 skylights in my kitchen and 1 skylight in each of our 2 bathrooms. WOW, what a difference they make!!! It took some time, after we moved into our brand-new house, getting used to NOT having to turn the lights off when leaving these rooms...thinking they were on, when in actuality, it was the sun.

  28. What a clever post, Diane. I loved how you quizzed us (that must be the teacher in you), then gave us the answer and added great text about the ironing board! I had one built into our laundry room---I love it, too!
