Welcome to Trash to Treasure on Tuesday. If you have something that is a treasure to you that someone else didn't want, add your name and the link to your post to Mr. Linky at the bottom. I look forward to visiting you!
Do any of you remember this Southern Living at Home basket that I bought for $4.00? I used it for most of the fall for an arrangement on my kitchen counter. You can look at that here if you want to. The basket is no longer available, but retailed for about $40.00.

Thanks for stopping by and looking at this week's Trash to Treasure!
You really did well. I love the look with the plants inside. The little birdhouse is perfect! You have me smileing at the thought of shopping in your own stash LOL! I'm going to have to give some more thought (and search my house) for some other Trash to Treasure items to share.

Hi Diane, Your treasure has been put to good use. It looks great with the plants. I know the original cost on that was just what you said. I have one too and it holds a fake fruit arrangement. I need to do something else with it. Your little birdhouse is the perfect accent with the plants.
ReplyDeleteI keep plants in the house for the winter and all I do is place them where there is natural light and water them. They really do well.
Hugs...Jeanne

ReplyDeleteI have plants that I've kept alive for over 35 years --lol--the key is not to overwater, and give them a window with soem hours of sunlight.

Diane...just love the basket and what a steal you got for only $4! I love it beside your bath. Way to put it to mulitple uses! Wish I could give advice on indoor plants but I never have much luck with them. I didn't notice if Tootsie (Glenda) from Tootsie Time had been by to comment but she would be a great one to ask. Susan
