It seems that I have a 'blogging block.' I haven't had too many of these since I usually have lots I want to blog about!
So, I looked in my 'antiques' folder and thought I would take us on a short window shopping trip of an antique store in Birmingham!
Antique shops are great places to get art. I really loved this oil painting of sunflowers. I think the price was $75.00. Be sure to notice the blue vase!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great Blue Monday!
Hi Diane...I love virtual shopping trips...and the real ones too!

Love it all!! I have several things that I am thinking about painting black when the weather warms up. Happy Blue Monday!
ReplyDeleteHappy Blue Monday!
ReplyDeleteDiane, I love the sunflower painting, and $75.00 sounds very reasonable for it.
ReplyDeleteI love the birdhouses, too, and am always looking for new ones for the fence in our backyard.
I enjoyed your shopping trip.
Don't you just hate when you can't think of anything to write about...I've been there many times, myself! I love all your pictures! Happy Blue Monday to you! ♥
ReplyDeleteGM Diane...girl I am so glad to know I am not the only one who has this blockage thing..I take my camera every where with me and still think...what am I going to post about..Great Blue Monday to you dear friend...hugs and smiles Gloria
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely Diane...antiquing is such an inspiration to Tom and I, too! Everything that we're using for lamps, tables and ART...plus another few odds and ends, in my re-decorating, has come from our Antiquing trips.
ReplyDeleteSome lovely photos, there.
I really enjoyed seeing these pictures of your visit to the antique shop. I know the feeling about "blogging blocks"....I have them at times.
ReplyDeleteLove these shopping trips...I wouldn't see these things otherwise because for some reason when I am the one out looking I don't see much of anything!
ReplyDeleteI just went antiquing last weekend. It was so fun. I bought a couple of pieces. Antiques are expensive though...I had no idea. I may stick with yard selling. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the colors of that cabinet too! I may also have to think about doing that. Thanks for the inspiration. laurie

Some pretty things there...but I love the sunflower painting...but then I am a freak for sunflowers!
