This week I'd like to show you two finials I've gotten recently-one at a thrift store, and the other at a garage sale. This pineapple finial came from the Hope Village Thrift store and cost $4.00. It has a $39.99 price tag on the bottom. There is a small piece broken off about the size of a fingernail on one side. You have to be really looking for it to find the flaw. I think it was part of a donation made to the thrift store from a furniture company that also sells accessories. I'm using it on our staircase now, but may use it in the garden later.

I like the second one best... no real reason....
ReplyDeleteGreat finds!
Both are pretty, Diane, but I love and collect pineapples, so I like the first one best. Great finds!
ReplyDeleteSincerely,
Janie

ReplyDeleteThe color of the second one is awesome but I think I read somewhere the pineapples are good luck in a home.
