This week I went to the Hope Village Thrift Store and found these two little 'Treasures' I would like to share.
First, I found this little pineapple lamp. The large pineapple in the picture is one I showed a while back. The little lamp cost $3.00 and really brightens up the space.

ReplyDeleteI am always amazed when I see such great things and the price was so amazingly low. I paint birdhouses but the real fun is when we hang them in the trees because first my paint job looks a lot better from way down on the ground and more incredible... a bird family moves in. Way cool!

I can't believe you got the pineapple lamp for $3.00. What a buy. I like the pineapple theme. The birdhouses are adorable. I have many but they are all outside and very weatherbeaten! :-(

ReplyDeleteGreat finds!!
ReplyDeleteDH is taking me junking today and out to lunch (we haven't had our "date night" in weeks, this is a makeup for that) so hopefully we'll find some goodies.
I have a set of pineapple glasses that I got for a wedding gift. They are still in the box; just not my thing. Wish I could find a pineapple lover near me to pass them on to.
Diane you find the cutest treasures.i love the pineapple.woow...Ann
ReplyDeleteI love the birdhouse and the pineapples - Great finds!
ReplyDeleteSuch great finds Diane. I like the pineapple theme you have & I also have a soft spot for birdhouses - yours is pretty enough to stay indoors all year long (but I am sure there are lots of birds in your garden that would love to turn it into a home this Spring) :-)
ReplyDeleteIt's great to find the treasures we love then find that special place for them. Your TREASURES look great.
ReplyDeleteMarie
You are definitely a bargain shopper! I would never have guessed that the pretty pineapple lamp only cost $3! What a deal! Your bird house is so cute, and you can't go wrong for $2. I'm just a little bit jealous of your "finds". laurie
ReplyDeleteHi Diane

ReplyDeleteLove that birdhouse! And what a cute lamp!
ReplyDeleteHello Diane, Your trash is always a treasure and I love to visit on Tues. to see what you have found to share. Today is no exception. The lamp and the birdhouse are such a great find.
ReplyDeleteWe went out today and I wanted to visit my favorite thrift store but the snow is bad here so after our errands we came straight home. Alas, we could not get up our road because of the snow. We kept sliding backwards. This is a new experience for us. LOL. We walked up to our house and realize it wasn't a good idea to go out today.
I hope your weather is better than ours.
Hugs...Jeanne
Hi Diane...I can hardly believe that darling lamp cost only 3 bucks...a light bulb cost that much these days! ;-) Bo

Wonderful finds Diane! I need to visit our two resale shops in town, more often and explore.
ReplyDeleteI love bird houses too! So cute.
ReplyDeleteMorning Diane..love those great finds..especially the birdhouse. I love having birdhouses mounted on poles in the flowerbeds...I'll catch the on sale at Hobby Lobby and Bill will cut a post for me and mount it the birdhouse and 'plant' it in among my bushes...thru the years some of my very favorites have really just gave up the ghost! lol
ReplyDeleteI have a huge Rock City one mounted way up high on a post that I have had for over 10 years and a couple of years ago I went out and the whole roof and one side had just fell off...Bill said it was just rotten and need to be taken down...I started crying and said ok and walked back in the house...the sweet toot 'patched' it back together and so far it is still holding up! lol lol I get to attatched to my stuff! lol lol Have a great day sweetie!
Great Finds Diane...love the prices too!
ReplyDeleteVery cute lamp. Love the shade.
