It's Snowing in Mississippi!!

Guess what? It is snowing in Mississippi! In fact it is still coming down as I write this post.

The last time we were supposed to get snow, it snowed 2 inches in New Orleans, which is a little over 3 hours south of here!

So, before it could melt ( I think it will be gone before dark-LOL) I went outside and snapped a few pics so all of you that are not from the south could see our snow!

Hope everyone has a wonderful and restful Sunday!

  4. Good morning Diane, beautiful snow photos this beautiful Sunday. We are expecting snow too, but none yet. You should keep the lovely photo of your home and make Christmas cards.

    Have a wonderful Sunday.

  5. Woo Hoo Diane! Enjoy your snow for as long as it lasts! You house looks so beautiful all blanketed in white. We are getting a nasty, wintry mix here in NC with 3-7 inches predicted by Monday morning. March has really come in like a lion this year!

  9. Diane, I logged on a little while ago, and I saw Rhoda's blog come rolling up with SNOW! Then Picket's and yours! Can't wait to see who else from Dixie has it! So far we don't have any, but I'm starting to wonder. LOL! I'll be sure and get pics if it gets to us. Have fun, and I hope you get to see the kids play in it! I'd love to see pics of them!

    XO,

    Sheila :-)

  13. Look how pretty your beautiful home looks in the snow, Diane! Wonderful photo!

When I lived in Bossier City/Shreveport, LA. in the early 60's, it snowed one time. It was quite a sight to see snow in the south!

  14. Incredible!!! And the pictures look great. We're expecting (gulp) 10" tonight...it's not snowing yet but I'm not to psyched about the commute to work in the morning! It's always prettier when work is not involved. :-)

  22. It snowed here in North Mississippi that day, too. We got a couple of inches. Nothing like the 4-6 inches we got last March, though!

That picture of your house could be mine! The only difference is that my columns are a little thicker, we don't have the railings between the columns and the middle window on your 2nd floor is bigger. Love it! :)
