2nd Time Around: An Estate Sale Treasure

Welcome to 2nd Time Around. If you love 2nd hand treasures, I would love for you to join us and link your post to Mr. Linky below. Anything that you have from a flea market, antique store, garage sale, thrift store, estate sale, or auction will be perfect!

This week, I’m posting a picture of a mirror and brush set that I bought at an estate sale. The set is silver plated, but very nice! It is one of my favorite estate sale finds. I’ve always wanted a set, and when I found this set, I had to have it. One thing about sales like this…you can’t go in with an idea of what you will buy ahead of time!

  3. One of the reasons I love things like this is I like to imagine the people who owned them. Don't you wish they could talk? Great find!

  8. Good morning Diane, I do love the vintage vanity set. This set is particularly pretty. The detail is beautiful. When I was in the business I sold primarily Victorian vintage. I still admire everything Victorian. Have a happy sun filled day.

    Hugs...Jeanne

  13. Hello Diane...

What a beautiful silver mirror and brush!!! The pattern on this set is just gorgeous! Do you know...I have never been to an estate sale! I live way out in the sticks and it seems like the only thing the estate sales around here offer are farm equipment...hehe!

Thank you so much for hosting "2nd Time Around Tuesday" for us! I always enjoy showing my "2nd time around" treasures!!!

    Warmest wishes,
    Chari

I'm having so much fun catching up with my bloggy friends. It's going to be a long week, LOL. :-)

NOLA was GREAT, of course. One "new" for me was the restaurant Lillete in the Garden District...it was our one "fancy night out," and hoo boy was it worth it!
