Welcome to 2nd Time Around Tuesday. Here’s where you can show off your second hand treasures that you have gotten from garage sales, flea markets, estate sales, thrift stores, etc. Please create a post and link the post to Mr. Linky below.
This faux arrangement was bought a while back at a garage sale near my house. I was driving home from the grocery store, and just happened to ride in the neighborhood to locate the house for the next day, and the young couple was working on getting everything out. They invited us to stop and see if we wanted anything, so we got first pick on their stuff. I rarely ever do that, but am glad I did this time!
This is on top of my piano in the foyer (which had a two story ceiling). I love the rustic urn container too!
Thanks for stopping by, and please consider doing a post to link.
Have a great day,
Diane
Mr. Linky is different today...click to add link. I'm working on getting it fixed. Sorry!

Another beautiful example of "you never know what you might find at a garage sale!" It's so pretty and I know you enjoy it on your piano.
ReplyDeleteThank you for giving us the opportunity to share our "2nd Time Around" treasures, Diane. It makes me realize just how many "treasures" I have.
Hi Diane...
ReplyDeleteHow nice of the couple to invite you in for FIRST PICK!!! Tom and I have happened upon only a couple of places where we were able to do that!!! It looks like you did a great job "picking"!!!
Going busily about my work...
Jan
Hello Diane, I am joining today's fun and I will try to do the temporary link. Your arrangement is lovely and a bargain too. Lucky you. I always say there may be a sleeper any time I see a garage sale so I always stop even if it doesn't look so good. LOL.
ReplyDeleteWe leave this morning for the Colorado mountains. We will be visiting Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park. I hope we have service so I can visit everyone.
I hope my post is ok for 2nd time around.
Hugs...Jeanne
What a gorgeous arrangement Diane. I have a two story ceiling foyer too and it's hard to find things that are big enough so they don't look lost in the space :-)
ReplyDeleteI've added my 2nd time around post but the Mr.Linky page wouldn't open for me.
GM Diane, GREAT arrangement! I would be so excited to find one this pretty! :) ~hugs, Rhonda
ReplyDeleteIt is a wonderful arrangment. It looks great on your piano. I love to search for the right piece but to find it is so much better!
ReplyDeleteI love your post. 2nd time around is so fun! I really enjoy reading all of the different posts!
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful arrangement. How lucky to get to "shop" before others at a garage sale!
ReplyDeleteYou got a pretty one this time for sure.
ReplyDeleteI know that today is not so good as Mr. Linky's having some problems. I have confidence that he'll straighten it all out soon.
Diane,
ReplyDeletethanks for the info on foto Friday.
see you there sometime.
blessings,
Barbara Jean
HI,I AM BACK-SORTA,IT'S AN ALMOST 2ND TIME AROUND,HA.THE LINK JUST SAYS ERROR FOR ME...ANN
ReplyDeletesO SORRY you are having trouble with Mr. Linky...the temp. one now seems to be having trouble, too, so I can't see who all is signed up. I'll keep checking during the day, tho. Hopefully, Blogger is working on the problem. Bless their hearts, they do seem to have SOMETHING wrong almost every day. With millions of blogs and photos, I can see why there would be glitches every now and then.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day, bj
That arrangement is awesome! How lucky to get to "pre-sale" and get the good stuff.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to get myself together to do this on Tuesdays. You know how the week just kind of gets past you before you know it. I'm writing this down. I love your 2nd Time Around Tuesdays!
