2nd Time Around: Book to Movie-My Sister’s Keeper

Welcome to 2nd Time Around. Please consider creating a post showing off something that is the 2nd Time Around for you…something you have that’s not new to you and linking to Mr. Linky below.

This week I’m featuring a 2nd Time Around that is a little different. I recently read  Jodi Picoult’s novel My Sister’s Keeper, and today saw the movie. I highly recommend this movie if you haven’t seen it and the book if you haven’t read it!

It is a pretty sad movie, but very well done. The movie has a different ending from the movie, and I liked the movie’s ending a little better! Now I’m going to have to search for the book, and reread it-at least the ending!

  4. I personally can't handle sad movies or books. I think it upsets my "Polly-Anna" outlook :-P

  15. I'm out of touch about current books (and movies too)! I'll definitely read more about My Sister's Keeper. You said you like the film's ending a little better -- do you think it's a good idea to see the movie first?
