Pink in Mykonos

Before we went on our Mediterranean Cruise, I had not heard of Mykonos, Greece. It was by far one of the most beautiful places that we stopped. These pictures show some of the sights…with a little pink here and there! IMG_1334

All of the buildings in Mykonos look like sugar cubes with a boxy look and are painted white and trimmed in blue. This one caught my eye with the name of our home town on the front!IMG_1336

Many of them had this beautiful vine with lovely pink flowers growing up the buildings and balconies.IMG_1335

Mykonos was one of Jackie O’s favorite hangouts!

    How very pretty it is there! I think the pink vine is bouginvilla but I can't see the blossum well enough to be sure. Happy Pink Day

    Half of the group of petals reminds me of a pansy, and then the half are just plain pinks. What's it's name?

    This place looks like a lovely one to spend a vacation with beautiful sunset to enjoy too.

    We were there in 1990 and it is one of our favorite places..took the 3 day cruise out of Pireaus..when the tour bus backs into the port, all the men's eyes are gaping at the topless women lying on the beach! All ages!
