2nd Time Around: Christmas

Jackson 005 Welcome to 2nd Time Around. Please join us by linking a post that features something that is a 2nd Time Around to you…something from a garage sale, flea market, thrift store, estate sale, etc. Please link your post rather than your blog, and link back to this blog. Thank you for participating.

This weeks 2nd Time Around features a Christmas find. I ran across these little Fitz and Floyd napkin rings a few weeks ago at an estate sale. I really liked , but decided to list them in my Vintage Etsy shop since I am trying to get it established and needed some cute merchandise At first I didn’t think they would sell, but they did after about 2 weeks. Now they have a great home in New York! Have you ever sold something and were not sure you really wanted to? That’s how I felt about these…but I know I can’t keep it all! And it makes me feel good to know that they have a home where they are now wanted!

And last but not least…here is my tree….and it is a 2nd Time Around of sorts. Last year I added alot of lime green to the stuff I already had. This year I used the lime green again! I did add the long green ornaments that look sorta like pine cones-bought after Christmas last year on sale of course!

Diane, your tree is beautiful. I love the lime green with the Christmas reds and white accents -- it's such a pretty combination.

In answer to your question about having seller's remorse -- yes, I experienced it many times when I was selling on eBay. I can't tell you how many gorgeous things I wish I had BACK, including an old windmill print that still haunts me! ... lol

It sounds like you're staying busy with your booth and Etsy shop, and I'm sure Connor and Cooper are keeping you busy too.

Best wishes to all of you for the best Christmas ever!

I like your Santa napkin rings too. I would've had a hard time putting them on Etsy also. Your tree is also very pretty. I like that shade of green you added.

Oh, I wish I had seen the Santa rings, they wouldn't have lasted two weeks in your etsy shop! I hate that I missed them! I bet they were hard to let go of, they are so cute! :)

Your tree is gorgeous! I love the white prickly looking ornaments, too!

Thanks for hosting this event, I look forward to it every week! ....off to check out the other posters! :) ~hugs, Rhonda

Good morning my friend. I LOVE your Christmas tree. I loved it last year and this year you have made it more beautiful with the pine cone ornaments and the tweaking you have done.

My tree is just pitiful this year. The puppy is into everything. She keeps us laughing and astonished at what she can fine to bite. Our little woodland tree looked very festive surrounded with some fun items but now... The woodland Santa, the sleigh and the burlap and little bears are all up on a chair out of her reach. She is just dying to get at the tree. Thank goodness it is too tall.

I love the Santa napkin holders and also glad you sold them. I know the fight of not wanting to sell some treasures very well. HA!

Love and hugs, Jeanne

Oh how sad. They are so cute. But I bet they are making someone else happy.
Thanks for sharing them. And congrats. on selling them anyway.
Have a great day.
Blessings,
Sherry

Gorgeous tree, Diane! Mine are nowhere near fully decorated yet; I keep using the excuse that they are still "relaxing."

Those napkin rings are darling; no wonder they sold. And I sold a few things on Etsy this past summer, and one of them --an ironstone compote that was my Mom's -- I definitely did regret selling. So some other things I took off the site so as not to have any more regrets!

It's a good thing I don't have to rely on that income to pay the bills!

Those are great napkin rings!

I had a yard sale at my place with four other friends this summer, and as we were going through our own boxes, we each wound up keeping at least one thing that we couldn't get rid of, lol! :-) So I know what you're saying. Hope your etsy store (and you!!) are doing well!

I've just found you from another blogger and decided to show our old tree that has been froufrou-ed yet again. I hope that qualifies and I haven't broken any rule. Nice to meet you, sugar!

I bought 8 of the same napkin rings, brand new still in the box at an estate sale last month! I used them on my December tablescape and just loved them!
