It’s Complicated!

It is so cold here just like most of the rest of the nation! One thing I enjoy doing in cold weather besides browsing flea markets, etc is go to the movies. If you haven’t seen this one, and need a laugh give it a try! I love Meryl Streep and she does a great job in the movie.

It's Complicated Movie

Have any of you seen it? What did you think?

Thanks for stopping by!

I adore Meryl Streep, and I can't wait to see it. Not as crazy about Alec Baldwin, but I do love Steve Martin.

We opted to see "The Blind Side" the other night instead of this, and I adored that movie. Have you seen it yet, Diane? It's truly extraordinary.

I plan to see this, though. I heard the interior design shots of the house are amazing.

XO,

Sheila :-)

Hi Dianne!

I love sitting in a theatre looking at that Meryle and saying to myself-- DANG what if your face was GIGANTIC on the big screen -- Her skin is amazing. (sorry I digress) LOL

I enjoyed the movie-- HOWEVER -- to me this movie wouldnt have been funny or made had the roles been reversed -- Some how we expect guys to "wonder" about their choices and forgive them their Maleness-- YET if it were her leaving, nope we are too hard on women and expect them to be a certain way.

WOW... I got a little heavy there didnt I? Sorry-- cuz i really did have a nice night at the movies. I love the interior of her home and shop-- (the designer in me huh?)

And the acting was good. I could tell it was a Nancy Meyers movie just by the sound track.

Sorry I rambled so.

Love your blog!!

If you get a moment I would love you to stop by-- say hi and maybe join us next week at Fridays- Finding Beauty!

Hello!

Like you, I loved the movie. Perhaps the fact that I am 68 and divorced had a little to do with it too!

YES, YES, YES! My husband and I saw this movie last week and we both LOVED it! I just thought it was so funny! I laughed, and laughed and even cried...Meryl Streep is one of my favorites, I think she's terrific in this part -so believable...I'm not a fan of Alec Baldwin but he played his part well too. This is definitely a movie I want to see again with girlfriends!

PS - I loved her house!

Follow-up: My husband and I had a chance to see it yesterday afternoon and loved it. We haven't laughed out loud at a movie in a long time, and we did several times in this one. Meryl Streep is amazing -- she can play any part and come across as being so natural.
