2nd Time Around: Teapot set

Welcome to 2nd Time Around. Please join us by linking a post that features something that is a 2nd Time Around to you…something from a garage sale, flea market, thrift store, estate sale, etc. Please link your post rather than your blog, and link back to this blog. Thank you for participating.

It seems that the sales in our area have tapered off-not as many bargains are to be found lately. It could be the heat….we are having some really HOT and humid days here-they pretty well drain all your energy.

Last week on Friday I did find this cute little teapot complete with a sugar and creamer at a great price! It was made in Occupied Japan and there are no chips! It was very dirty when I dug it out of a box at the sale and since I didn’t make it to the sale until later, I’m surprised it was still there. I’m not sure where it will end up-could be in one of my booths, or possibly in my Etsy shop, but for now, I’m just enjoying

One thing for sure, you never know what you’ll find when out hunting!

Now it’s your turn-what 2nd Time Around item have you found lately?

  5. Your beautiful treasures always make me want to visit flea markets and yard sales, Diane ... and I think I'm going to do that today (even though it's going to be another hot and humid one). Hope I can find something as pretty as your tea set.

  6. Well, half the fun of buying our goodies IS the hunt and wondering what we will do with them! This is certainly a sweet set. The colors are not usually what I would call my "fav" but there is something about it that I like! Thanks for hosting, Diane. I was late getting my link in. Too many zzzz's this morning.

  9. Hi Diane, I thought I linked up last night but I'm not linked now. I'll link up again. From now on I will link the next morning. This has happened to me before. ???

I think your coffee set is very beautiful and wonderful that it is Occupied Japan. That really ages it perfectly. Lucky you and you are right about searching for stuff in un expected places.
