2nd Time Around: Lamps with Prisms

Jackson 005

Welcome to 2nd Time Around. Please join us by linking a post that features something that is a 2nd Time Around to you…something from a garage sale, flea market, thrift store, estate sale, etc. Please link your post rather than your blog, and link back to this blog. Thank you for participating.

At the same estate sale where my son purchased the bookcase I wrote about 2 weeks ago, I found this lamps. They have etched glass shades, and prisms.

I bought them at a great price, and planned to resale them in one of my booths. But when I got home, I noticed a hairline crack in one of the shades! So for now, I’m enjoying them on my antique sideboard! Maybe one day I’ll run across another shade and decide to part with them, but more than likely I won’t!

Don’t know if you can tell which one it is…but it is in the first picture. I thought I had looked them over really well, so I’m wondering if the crack happened after they were packed up. Who knows? But I am going to have to be more careful!

Good morning Diane, I'm back! I was out of town and unable to post anything. That was the week before last. Then I missed again. I am happy to be joining in your meme once again. I have missed you.

The glass lamps are very pretty and I can't see the crack. I have purchased items that were damaged with out me noticing it before. I honestly don;t think anyone will notice the crack. They look beautiful where you put them.

Have a wonderful Day.
Hugs, Jeanne

They are truly beautiful, Diane, and no one but you will probably ever notice the crack.

Are you going on the Highway 80 sale?

Oh I have been looking for lamps like those for my mantelpiece!

LOVE them. I'd love them even more with ruby red shades . . . just sayin.'

They are gorgeous. Cass

Hi Diane!

They are beautful lamps!

I think my cell phone dialed you by mistake this afternoon! I found it opened to your number when I took it out of my bag. Sorry for any inconvenience!
