2nd Time Around: New Look for Old Frames and Wardrobe

Welcome to 2nd Time Around. Please join us by linking a post that features something that is a 2nd Time Around to you…something from a garage sale, flea market, thrift store, estate sale, etc. Please link your post rather than your blog, and link back to this blog. Thank you for participating.

Here’s another old piece given a great facelift with sage green paint. This was done by one of the talented vendors at one of the antique malls where I have  a booth. She also updated the frames around old prints with the same color! I have a paler shade of this color that I bought from the ‘Oops paint’ section at Walmart-which by the way happens to be a great place to buy paint cheap! I haven’t decided what I’ll paint with it yet….but it will be something small!

Diane, I like this a lot! That's good to know about the "oops" paint section. I will have to check it out. There's always something I need to paint.

Wishing you and yours the very best New Year ever!

Love,

Sheila :-)

Hi Diane

This is a pretty wardrobe! I never knew there was a 'oops' paint section at Walmart... I will have to investigate!

Thanks for the info about WW. If I can find a program near me I will join...it sounds easier!

Somewhat hysterically...I recently bought a can of "Ooo=ps" paint. And I'm 99% sure I left it in the shopping cart. Oops. ;-)

Dutch Boy paint at Wal Mart is wonderful, only don't let it get too cold. It ruins easily. Dutch Boy says it's because there is more water in it than in other paints. I learned from experience...opps.

I don't think our Walmart has an oops paint ....Home Depot and Lowes both have it, tho.

Thanks so much for hosting.
