2nd Time Around: Christmas Angels

Welcome to 2nd Time Around. Please join us by linking a post that features something that is a 2nd Time Around to you…something from a garage sale, flea market, thrift store, estate sale, etc. Please link your post rather than your blog, and link back to this blog. Thank you for participating.

As I have mentioned before, one of my favorite things to do while traveling to visit my student interns is to shop all the thrift stores along the routes. This semester, I have a student placed at a school in Reform, Ala. In the past couple of years, I have made contacts and become friends with Joan, who has a resale shop that is run for charity. When she knows that I’m coming, she will gather up some things that she thinks I might like.

Recently, I bought a whole box of these hand made ceramic angels! They came in really handy this past weekend. We had an open house at the flea market, and I used these pretty little angels to decorate my tree! I wish I knew who made them, and why they ended up in the thrift store! I love them…actually they are much prettier than the pictures show!

  3. Thank you so much for doing another link party-even though as it gets closer to Thanksgiving, it's probably getting a bit more hectic! I linked up two of my current projects-my DIY Cheap Produce Cleaner and my Vintage Lace Fall Wreath. Hope it's ok that I did two of my projects at once! Thanks again!
