2nd Time Around: Wicker Sofa

Welcome to 2nd Time Around. Please join us by linking your post of your 2nd hand treasures with Mr. Linky below.

I’ve been wanting a three cushion wicker sofa for a while and have been shopping for one at resale shops and estate sales. Recently I finally found one at an estate sale in our town. It needs some work done on the cushions, but overall is in very good condition! The best part is that I bought it the second day of the sale and was able to negotiate a price for less than half of the original asking price.

This week I would like to show you an new birdhouse I bought at the Hope Village Thrift Shop. I love using birdhouses to decorate my screened porch, and found this like new bird cafe bird house on a recent visit there.

Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!

2nd Time Around: Old garden trellis

Welcome to 2nd Time Around. Please join us by creating a post with something ‘new’ to you that you’ve gotten at a garage sale, estate sale, thrift store, etc.

This garden trellis is an old piece that my son found somewhere and is used between the porch and my hydrangea bushes.

The picture really doesn’t do it justice, but is the only one I can find. My hydrangeas were in full bloom while we were gone, and really have not recovered from the heat and drought we had in June.

Thanks for stopping by today!
