A Movie with a Pink House

Do you know which movie this pink house is in?

The Pepto Bismol pink house was in the movie The Secret Life of Bees.

I went this week with a friend after work and really enjoyed the film. I always enjoy going to a movie which is based on a book I've read.

If you are not familiar with Sue Monk Kidd and her best selling novel, click on the link and watch the movie trailers.

Have any of you seen the movie or read the book?

For more posts featuring the color pink visit Beverly at How Sweet the Sound! Hope you have a happy pink Saturday!

Oh that pink! We live in a neighborhood that has a homeowners association that has to approve your paint colors, etc. We do not mind. We do not mind a bit. But, we are in the original older section. In fact the entrance. The problem with the older section was, if you were not a charter member of the HOA (we were/are) and original owner of the house, etc. the ordinances, bi-laws, etc. could not be enforced. We lived across from a house that color for many many years. Poor man died a couple of years ago. Someone bought his house and painted a dull color.

Everyone knew where we lived though. Across from the 'pink' house.

This is a great book and I want to see the movie. Supposedly the story is set in my hometown of Sumter, SC.

I like to read the book before seeing the movie, too. I usually like the book better.

I read that book several years ago and just recently saw that it has been made into a movie. I'd like to see it sometime. At the rate I go to the movies I'll probably end up watching it on DVD.

I'm late getting on the computer today but I wanted to let you know that I tagged you!

take care,

It is a very pink charming house. I haven't read the book but would like to, after reading your post.

LOL, I have to apologize. As I was editing my post, I received a call from my mom saying she had just got her #46 great grand baby today. I didn't realize it had been posted. As a school teacher there were plenty of places you could have corrected:) lol
Diane, You are always so sweet!
Thanks:)

Hi Diane, my computer was down this morning so my comments are running late. We had bad wind and rain and it knocked out the net.

The pink house is fun and I want to see that movie. I haven't read the book either. Your pink is fun today. I don't think I could live in a pink house. Smile

Have a great weekend.

Love...Jeanne
