Last weekend we traveled to Houma LA to a crawfish boil that my cousins have each year.
Look for blue in the pictures….I’m linking to Smiling Sally and Blue Monday! Be sure to stop by and visit her for more blue posts!
Connor has been for the past 3 years and really looks forward to it!
This was Cooper’s second time to go with us. He was so good all weekend. He loves to be outside and the weather was perfect!
I would not want to be a crawfish! LOL
I would love to know what Cooper was thinking!
As you can see from the picture, it was a very relaxed and enjoyable time for us. We visited aunts, uncles and cousins and had a wonderful time! On the way back, we stopped in New Orleans and visited the French Quarter. The French Quarter Festival was that weekend, and I took lots of pictures. Come back Wednesday, and I’ll have my New Orleans pictures posted then!
Thanks for coming by!

It sounds like a good time was had by all, Diane ... except maybe Cooper. He looks like he had reservations about getting too close to those strange little creatures ... and, although I was born and raised in Louisiana, I don't blame him one bit ... lol.
I can't wait to see your pictures of the French Quarter Festival.
Girl, I hope you ate a bushel of crawfish for me! Oh, how I love mudbugs! My brother in law (now deceased) and I used to eat a huge paper grocery sack between the two of us. I love them! :-)
Looks like you had a great time, and I can't wait to see your NOLA pics.
XO,
Sheila
Love both boys' expressions! I'll be back to see the French Quarter photos. Thanks for sharing. :)
Your grandsons can't possibly get any cuter...can they? :) Sure looks like you had a wonderful time, Diane! I've never tried eating crawfish...don't know if I'm brave enough! Happy Monday!
Going to NO in a couple of weeks to see my son and sister. Hope there are still some crawfish available! Love the pics, reminds me of all the boils we attended.
Altho I wouldn't touch a crawfish with a ten foot pole, this looks like ya'll had a fabulous, visiting time together. The little boys are so so cute.
My daughter and her hubby are in New Orleans right now...he took her there for her 40th birthday..they are having a blast.
See ya tomorrow for 2nd time around..
I've never had them--and don't think I'd want to touch them, but it looks like a good time had by all. Funny, 'cause it doesn't bother me to shell a crab! Thanks for sharing. Happy Blue Monday.
I have never eaten them, but I have touched them! It was a Science Unit I had to teach every year. And I got nipped by one, wouldn't let go! Tried not to scream in front of all those 4th graders, but it hurt!
The boys are adorable..
Hi Diane, looks like everyone had a great time.
Happy Blue Monday.

Now this is something I've never experienced but it sure looks like a fabulous gathering! What fun. Love the shot of Conner holding the crawfish!! Happy blue to you and I'm looking forward to your Outdoor post!
What a fun gathering with your relatives!
Diane, I love your post today. The boys are the cutest little guys ever. What was Cooper thinking. You sure could tell the wheels were turning. LOL I don't think I would eat one of those things with legs all over the place. I love the photo with everyone having fun together. It reminds me of our family. Can't wait for Weds.
Hugs...Jeanne
Looks like a great time; the boys are so cute!
I am hosting 13 giveaways this week. I hope you'll stop by.
Diane, those crawfish looks so good. I can never have enough of them. The kids are so cute! Can't wait to see your NO pics. You should have visited me. We are a 3 hr drive away from there...Christine
I've never eaten crawfish but I would imagine they taste much like lobster which is plentiful here in Eastern Canada. I'm sure everyone had a great time! Have a wonderful Blue Monday.
Blessings,
Sandi
Cooper seems to have a couple of tasty treats there!
Too bad you guys couldn't come to New Orleans this past weekend and next. The Crescent City's booming with tourists and locals alike who are all kicking back in the sun for great music and delicious food at the 40th annual Jazz & Heritage Festival.
There's plenty of crawfish out there too - boiled crawfish, crawfish bread, crawfish pies, and more. I bet the kids would love it :)
The crawfish.com crew was out there having fun and soaking up the sun!
That must have been a lot of fun..the kids are adorable, and the crawfish...oh, yum!
It sounds like it was a fun time for everyone, except maybe the craw fish, lol! Those little guys are rather tasty, especially when dipped in drawn butter. omgosh, yummy!
OH!!! I want grandbabies!!! Yours are precious!!! What a great day!!!
Looks like fun was had by all!!!
Have a wonderful Blue Monday!!!
XOXO
Cathy
All it takes I suppose is a little boy to be enamored of a crawfish. Look at the gleam in little Conner's eye!
Brenda
Oh what cute kids! Much, MUCH cuter than the crawfish!
Cass
Looks like fun...beautiful children! Happy Blue Monday ~ Susan
A grand meet and greet for sure.

That looks like quite a fun fait do-do.
