Welcome to 2nd Time Around. Here is where you can show off your second hand treasures from flea markets, garage sales, estate sales, thrift stores, etc!
This picture shows another one of my daughter’s rejects that I inherited when she moved-I use it on my screened porch to add a little color to the table, or on a shelf to add color. It has four little wooden compartments, and a leather handle. It is kinda rustic looking which makes it perfect for the porch!
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you will join us for 2nd Time Around!

I love your daughter's "rejects." Lots of possibilities there.

what a great little wooden box... and wonderful daughter to leave it for you!
I believe my son made me a box like that in Cub Scouts!
I still have it somewhere.
More is always better. Hope that wasn't Lynn's box...she isn't sure where her's is.
ahhh...a precious daughter and the box is great.
Thanks so much for hosting...
Have a wonderful Tuesday.

Very cute, your daughter is so sweet :-) If my daughter gives me anything-- it just means she is giving me "back" what I had given her lol

There's thrifting and now there's rejecting! Happy 2nd Time Around.
Good morning Diane, I am sitting in my great room, drinking my coffee, enjoying a day in my own house. Hooray, I am home for good. at least for now. I hated not being able to visit my dear blogging friends. That would be you.
I love the box you posted today. Lucky you that your daughter moved and you became the recipient of her castoffs. Some great stuff came your way. This box is just the cutest thing to add colorful plants to on your porch. My plants have suffered while I have been gone. My sisters tried to keep them going but my touch and conversation with them has caused them to look a little sad. BIG smile.
I scrolled down to your vacation post and loved your photos. You and your dh look great. What a great vacation. Love the Jackie O's
hangout.
I am loving my time on the computer this morning even though my dh is interrupting me every second. By the way we are getting a new puppy poodle in the fall. I posted about it the other day.
Have a great day Diane.
Hugs...Jeanne

Hi Diane
I always love it when my daughter decoides she doesn't like aomething in her home anymore as I usually "inherit" it! My newest inheritance was glass top parsons desk that she felt was too big for a room. It's now my computer desk! :-)
Hugs, Pat
I am liking that!
Your daughter has proved to be a gold mine of hidden treasures!

Diane, Darling little decorative box, I can see many things to put in it, depending on the season.
Hope you are having a good week.
Barbara
If your daughter ever has anything she doesn't want, and you don't want it either, send it my way! Her rejects are the best! laurie
Hello Diane, just stopping by to say hello. Be home is the best. Time on my computer is even better.
Have a happy day and evening.
