2nd Time Around: Daisy Chain dishes

Welcome to 2nd Time Around. Please join us by creating a post featuring something that is new to you that you have acquired at a garage sale, flea market, thrift store, estate sale or inherited.

I hope Mr. Linky cooperates this week. Sorry about last week, but Mr. Linky changed servers and all the links disappeared. So, if you want to repost last weeks item, that will be fine with me.

These dishes pictures here are part of a set of dishes I ‘inherited’ from my daughter. The pattern is ‘Daisy Chain’ and was created by Mississippi artist Gail Pittman. She discontinued this pattern a few years ago, and recently has stopped producing all of her pottery that was made in Jackson, Ms. Occasionally I will run across a piece of this at a flea market or on EBAY, and if it is something I don’t have, I try to get it.

My daughter changed her color scheme completely when they moved into another home, so I got lucky! Thanks for stopping by today…hopefully things will go smoother this week.

Hi, Diane ...

Daisy Chain is one of my favorite Gail Pittman patterns, and it is getting harder and harder to find. I know you treasure your collection.

Hi Diane,
These dishes have such festive colors and would be fun for a Mexican dinner party! I am always on the lookout for thrift store dishes to add to a few of my discontinued collections. This is also my first time participating in your weekly event, it looks like fun one!

Hi Diane!
I love these dishes and it's so nice they were produced in your home state.

I joined in a little late today -- and it's with soemthing I saw and don't own..hope that is OK....I certainly do wish I owned one of them! :-)

Love these, Diane! I have some Gail Pittman pottery, and I can't believe she is not making it anymore! I wish I had bought more when I bought what I have. I only have a small service for four, and I would like to have had more. I ordered it online from a shop.

XO,

Sheila

Diane, the dishes are so pretty and colorful. I love those flowers and the plate is gorgeous too. How could your daughter part with them? One thing about them, she will inherit them back one day. Hopefully a long time from now.

We are still in Kansas but I posted a surprise today. I'm smiling.

Hugs...Jeanne
