2nd Time Around-Pictures for the kitchen

Welcome to 2nd Time Around. Please join us by creating a post of something that is ‘new’ to you but not new-examples are something inherited, from an estate sale, garage sale, thrift store, etc.

These pictures were found at a garage sale last summer, and I never have gotten around to hanging them, When I returned home from our vacation, they were hung on the kitchen wall in just the right spot. You might be wondering how that happened. My son was here looking after everything while we were gone, and he found them and took care of it for me! They originally came from Kirklands-but I paid $2 each for them. IMG_1614IMG_1616

Thanks for stopping by! I look forward to seeing all your 2nd Time Around treasures!

Hi Diane,
I have had a hard time getting to your blog too. It kept coming up with "Will Abort." Your pictures are very nice. What a thoughtful son you have, to hang those pictures for you! I love having a peek at what someone else has done with their junk or second hand treasures! Have a wonderful day!

Blessings,

Hi, Diane, from a brand new blogger! Just found your Tuesday event and I just happened to have posted about a couple of items I "found" recently. I liked the story about the Kirkland's pictures. I live in Jackson, TN, where the first Kirkland's opened in 1966. They used to have some great warehouse sales -- new stuff at garage sale prices!

Have a great day! Stop by and see me sometime...
Bill

Your prints are gorgeous, Diane! They would look lovely in my kitchen (do I sense a twinge of jealousy coming from me - hmmm). And thank you for hosting a fun participation blog. It's my first time and I enjoyed sharing my grandma's newly discovered dishes.
