Welcome to 2nd Time Around. Please join us by linking a post that features something that is a 2nd Time Around to you…something from a garage sale, flea market, thrift store, estate sale, etc. Please link your post rather than your blog, and link back to this blog. Thank you for participating.
Since I’ve been scouting out sales for items for my booth at the antique mall and for my Etsy shop, I’ve found lots of things I’ve bought for my home.
Recently I found these two pretty butterfly prints tucked away at the Salvation Army Family Store. They are the perfect size for a little nook near my desk!
Then the same week, I found these pansy prints at a local garage sale. The frames were a little too ‘gold’ so I used Rub n Buff to tone them down a bit. Now they are hanging on a bare wall in my bath.
Have you found any 2nd Time Around treasures lately? Tell us about them!
Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Diane, I don't have my post quite finished, so I'll link up after awhile. But I did want to say that I absolutely LOVE the butterfly prints! They look PB'ish or Ballard's. Really pretty! And I really like your nativity set below! What a great find! ~hugs, Rhonda :)
I really like your butterfly prints too. I bet they look really nice in your desk area. The pansy's are great for the bathroom. Oh, they have butterflies in them too!
What fun to link up today. I am so excited to see everyone's treasures.
Diane,
thanks for hosting
Blessings to you and your family this Christmas time of year.

I love that you find so much beauty. Even now, these pictures are fantastic. Thank you.
Good morning Diane. Your butterfly prints are a wonderful find. The pansies are too. Shopping like this saves so much money. Being budget minded and finding treasures is such a HIGH. Who needs champagne??? LOL.
How is your shop doing? I envy the fun you are having. Big smile.
Have a wonderful day.
Hugs xoxo, Jeanne
It's always fun to see what you find, Diane! These are neat. :-)
XO,

Diane, I love those prints, and thanks for the rub and buff tip!
The butterfly prints were a great find. I am seeing butterflies everywhere in decorating books and magazines. I like the trick you did to the pansy print's frames. That was a good choice, they look really good.
Whoops!! I am so sorry. I posted my name twice. I am brand new to blogging. Will not make that mistake again.
I am delighted to hear about "Rub and Buff"...as I also have bought frames with gold that is way too bright. I had never heard of it before. Thank you for the tip. Your garage sale pictures are lovely.
