2nd Time Around: Facelift for 1950’s Furniture

Welcome to 2nd Time Around. Please join us by linking a post that features something that is a 2nd Time Around to you…something from a garage sale, flea market, thrift store, estate sale, etc. Please link your post rather than your blog, and link back to this blog. Thank you for participating.

This retro dresser from the 1950’s has been given a cheery coat of red and distressed. This piece is at the Flea Market where I have one of my booths. I’m especially interested in keeping note of it-the dresser was from the estate of my late mother in law! The vendor who bought it does a wonderful job with her painted furniture.  This would make an awesome piece to use with a flat screen TV!

Thanks for stopping by, and please add your link to your 2nd Time Around post to Mr. Linky below.

I think it's safe to say "Merry Christmas!" we are just too close not to! I am sharing both my Pretty Paper Christmas Trees Decor and my Cedar Xmas Garland. They were very easy to make and didn't cost much of the green stuff. Plus, they are pretty cute, too. Thanks for hosting another party and hope you have a great holiday!

Hi Diane, I am laughing because I linked to last weeks post. That is what came up when I came over. I visited everyone and had a grand time. So here I am again.
The dresser makes a huge statement in red. It is a very special dresser and I am sure you will sell it pretty fast.

I am all ready for Christmas and for a change I have some computer time.
Blessings and love to you and yours this Christmas.
