Welcome to 2nd Time Around. Please join us by linking a post that features something that is a 2nd Time Around to you…something from a garage sale, flea market, thrift store, estate sale, etc. Please link your post rather than your blog, and link back to this blog
This past weekend we went to Cruising the Coast in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. Although we don’t own an antique car, we had a great time visiting with my cousin Kathleen, her husband Joe, and her sister Chris. The Mississippi Gulf Coast has hosting this event for 12 years-although the year of Katrina (2005) the event was not held. This was our first time to go, and we enjoyed it so much!
I thought since these old cars had been fixed up and given a ‘2nd chance’ so to speak, that this would be perfect for my 2nd Time Around post!
We saw hundreds of antique cars as they cruised down Main Street in Bay St. Louis! Don’t worry-I didn’t take a picture of them all and I promise I won’t post all the ones I did photograph.
There were LOTS of Camaros!
Most of them were red or blue….
Hubby and I in front of a gray one!
There were lots of great entertainers throughout the weekend too…performing music from the era of most of the cars—50’s and 60’s!
The cars for sale had pretty hefty prices-this 1938 car was for sale for $38,000!
A magnet on the side of a car pretty well describes the majority of the crowd at the event. LOL
People were there from all over!
This lime green on stood out in the crowd!
I took lots more pics-if you would like to see some more join me for Pink Saturday this week.
Thanks for stopping by! If you would like to read more about this fun event, click here!

Diane, those cars are just amazing! I love them all. And I also love your hair... did you get a new hairdo? I just love your hair.
It's good to see pictures of something happy on the Gulf Coast. I'm so glad that life is returning to normal for so many people who were displaced. This makes me smile. Thanks for sharing...

Sheila :-)

I was so in love with those Camaro's when I was young & they were new! Love the picture of you & hubby!
I linked my pumpkin post. I used a friends silver compote for the pumpkin stand. ☺
Awesome pictures! Love to look at classic cars!
Oh, Diane, you should have shown that BLUE one yesterday, or it you have another one, please show it next Monday.
This looks like a fun outing.
I'm going to send this to my son, Diane. He has a '69 Camaro that he and his dad restored literally from the ground up. A lot of hard work and love went into that car and it won several trophies at classic car meets. He'll love seeing these, and I can't wait to see the pink ones ... lol
Good morning Diane, we love antique cars and have belonged to an antique car club for several years. We don't have an antique car but we joined because my sisters and their hubbies belong. They do have antique cars. We do enjoy going to the shows very much.
How wonderful that you could visit family and enjoy this fun event. Your photos are terrific. it would be fun to see more. This is the perfect 2nd time around post.
Have a wonderful day.
Hugs xoxo, Jeanne
