2nd Time Around: Pumpkin decor

Welcome to  2nd Time Around. Please join us by linking a post that features something that is a 2nd Time Around to you…something from a garage sale, flea market, thrift store, estate sale,  etc. Please link your post rather than your blog, and link back to this blog.

This week I stopped in the Salvation Army Thrift store just to take a look. This store has not been my favorite because I always found it to be a little on the junky side. I was very surprised at how neat and organized everything was.

I bought a couple of items, but wanted to share this one since everyone is getting their homes ready for fall. All my decorations are still packed up-maybe one day this week I’ll get in gear.

This pumpkin has a home now on our dining room table. I placed it on my Southern Living at home barley pedestal (not from the thrift store!) Don’t you love getting decorations at bargain prices? I know I do!

Thanks for dropping by!

Hi Diane, it is late but I just finished my post for tomorrow and I wanted to link up. Yes, I do love thrift, etc. shopping. My post will show why it is a smart shopping tip. I love your fall pumpkin from the Salvation Army store. I don't have one here but we just had Good Will open a store here in Franklin.

Thanks for your sweet comment about Ashley. I posted it late today as I just arrived home at 4:00pm. I have been in Atlanta for 4 days helping my sisters re-locate their antiques in a mall next door to the one they are in now. The mall they are in is moving everyone over to the new location. It is a huge mall and each dealer is responsible for moving their own space. Boy am I tired.

Hugs, Jeanne

I don't seem to have as much luck at the Salvation Army either. I have found some great things at the Goodwill store, but they are a bit pricey. I LOVE your pumpkin! And it looks grand in the center of your table on the pedestal.

I went downtown, saw Katie in the nude

like no one else could see her; DAMN! I phewed;
