Recently I purchased several estate pieces from a young lady that had taken care of her aunt. Among the things I bought was this Victorian ewer. Before this, I had not heard of a ewer before, and still don’t know much about them.
The piece is metal, and I’m wondering if it could be bronze! It does not appear to have an opening….so that is very intriguing. If any of you reading this have any information about this piece or a similar piece, please share it with me!

I was shocked at the price for the pair!!
I don’t really know what to do with it! Sell it on line? Put it in one of my antique booths? What would you do?

I LOVE IT!
Hi Diane, I have had two of these and I ended up selling them. I paid a lot for mine. They had roses painted on porcelain. They were beautiful. This one is very pretty and different. You had fun at this estate sale huh? Big smile. I miss the 'hunt.'
My post is a bit different and I had fun doing it tonight. It is late so I will say good night my friend.
Have a wonderful day.
Hugs, Jeanne
WOW! Gorgeous and unique! Happy selling!

Thanks for the opportunity to link to your post.
I love your link party, I have crafted forever but just started blogging and I love it. Thank you
Diane, if you have an eBay account, and sell worldwide, you will get much more money for this ewer. The metal actually looks like spelter, at least from the pictures.
Thanks for hosting the party!

I think I would list on 3-bay which would give you a much broader customer base. Although it is so pretty you might just want to keep it awhile and admire it.
thx for the linky party. always a good place to find inspiration! hope you like my contribution this week!
