A prayer request for a hurting family

I would like to share a blog with you that I discovered yesterday. My cousin sent me this link, and I really am at a loss for words. This blog is written by a young mother who has just lost her young daughter to meningitis, and now her little boy is sick.
I hope it is appropriate to post this link. I have noticed that many of you are Christians, and your strong faith is evident on your blogs. I thought some of you might be able to pray for this family. Her posts are a little lengthy, but you won't forget what you read. Have some tissue handy...you will need it.
She pours her heart out, and her faith is an inspiration to us all.

My Pink Cell Phone!

I know there is nothing unusual about my phone...you see lots of these! But what is unusual is how cell phones have changed our world. Just a very few years ago, I didn't have one at all! Now I can't think of anyone that doesn't have one except my mother in law! This is my third one...the first became outdated, the second went through the washing machine, and then I got this one. I really like it...it is lightweight and makes great pictures! The bright pink color shows up when it falls down into my dark purse. I thought I would be happy with it for along time until I saw my cousin Amber's phone the other day! She has a new I Phone...and can check email and all sorts of stuff! I wonder if they have a pink one?Just when you think you have just what you need....out comes something else! When will it ever end???

Family Photo on Friday

Deborah from Pictures Pots and Pens is hosting a Favorite Family Photo. I have literally thousands of pictures...lots of digital ones, lots in scrapbooks and many in photo boxes. Picking a favorite is hard because I like them all!
Since I can only chose one, here is just the one for today:
This is one of Connor when he was 2 or 3 and my son Jonathan. Connor had just said something ...shall we say "inappropriate." I was able to capture this picture of Jonathan's reaction! From the look on Connor's face, you can tell that he enjoyed the 'shock' reaction he provoked!

I really enjoyed doing this post....my pictures and the memories they bring back are so precious to me!
