I would like to share a blog with you that I discovered yesterday. My cousin sent me this link, and I really am at a loss for words. This blog is written by a young mother who has just lost her young daughter to meningitis, and now her little boy is sick.
I hope it is appropriate to post this link. I have noticed that many of you are Christians, and your strong faith is evident on your blogs. I thought some of you might be able to pray for this family. Her posts are a little lengthy, but you won't forget what you read. Have some tissue handy...you will need it.
She pours her heart out, and her faith is an inspiration to us all.

Diane, I read about that poor family. I am still sobbing. How does anyone recover from a loss like like that. Faith in God that's how. Thanks for the info, at least we can pray for that poor family. Prayers can help, I am convinced.
Love and blessings, Jeanne
I will read your link when I feel I am able. Too early in the morning for a sad post. I had menningitis at 3 it is a terrible disease my heart goes out to that family. How very sad. Thank you for sharing.

Oh, such a crushing loss. I pray that they find the strength to bear such pain.
That is just the saddest story. My heart goes out to the family! When my son was four the dr.'s thought he had meningitis (it was something else, and luckily he is now healthy!) and I remember how my heart sank. I can't, and hope I never do, imagine the loss of a child. My prayers are with that family!
take care,
Dawn
Morning girl...I will most certainly visit that site and be praying for that family...what a loving thing for you to do by letting us all know about this..I know if I had such a need I would want someone to call my name...have a great day sweetie.
Diane,
My hearts goes to The White's Family. I am a survivor of the meningitis when I was 4 years old. My prayers will be with the family. Thank you for sharing the information. I will keep in touch with The White's. You have a bless Monday!
I'm sorry! Got mix up with the name of the family.....Atchison's Family. My prayers are with them!
Terribly sad. On a happier note, I tag you. Come on over for a visit.
I will be praying. I can't bear right now to read their story but I will soon.
I have a loved one that has suffered serious complications from encephalitis. I feel very lucky that he is still with us.
Thank you for sharing.
Barb
P.S. this is my first visit to your blog.
