This picture is of my pink caladiums in the flower pots on my front porch steps LAST year. This year I didn't plant caladiums and I really regret it!
We have a Van Zyverden plant near here and they have a couple of sales each year where the public can go and buy bulbs in bulk for really good prices. They import and market bulbs from Holland and ship to all over the USA.
I can't remember why, but I didn't make it to the sale this spring. My flower pots on the porch look really bad by now, and it is a little too hot to plant pansies. The caladiums usually look good up until time for the pansies to be planted.
They will be having another sale soon...for bulbs to plant in the fall. I plan to go and buy some daffodils. I'm not going to miss any more of their sales!
Thanks Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for hosting Pink Saturday. Please visit Beverly for a list of other Pink Saturday participants.
Hope everyone has a wonderful pink Saturday without any regrets!

Lovely caladiums. I DID plant them this year, but my 140 lb Newfie spent her summer dancing amongst them and they are no more!!
Look how pretty those are. I will have to try them here.
Happy Pink Saturday. Hope you will visit me and my Pink RV

I love caladiums! Yours were beautiful - even though it was last years - andyou've inspired me to put them on my "to do" list for next year.
I haven't had caladiums in years and I LOVE them! I need to remember those for next Spring.
Well, I thought I was the clever girl using inverted glasses as a part of my post today---I see I wasn't the first to think of that. Yours looks terrific on your previous post!!! Great job. Dana

Beautiful Caladium, Diane. I used to have them, but haven't since moving to this house. I should give them another try.
Diane, I enjoyed seeing your fall decorations. It's looking festive at your house. I did a little bit of Fall around my house this week that I'll share next week sometime. I had a fun day of yardsaling today!

Diane, I thought caladiums came back every year. They do in Florida. These are beautiful. The weather is warm still, but that will change soon enough.
Have a great weekend.

Beautiful caladiums. I'm happy to know their name...
Hi Diane, I love your caladiums.
Happy Pink Saturday!
Love, Ann
You lucky duck, I'd love to have somewhere nearby to buy good bulbs. Guess I'll just have to keep ordering mine from the internet! I love fall because it's time to plant bulbs for next year!
Those are beautiful caladiums. :)
Fabulous plants! Thanks for sharing those with us! Happy Pink Saturday!
Happy Pink Saturday, Diane.
I adore caladiums. Maybe you can get them again next year.
Hi Diane, I love caladiums, too! It is so hot here, that we have to grow them in mostly shade! I found a shady spot this year and planted a pot of green and white ones! The daffodils will be so pretty and fragrant this spring! :) ~Rhonda
Beautiful plants, happy pink saturday!
Kathy
I hope you have a good Sunday! :)
Hey Diane, love your caladiums, one of my favs! Keep those luv bugs out of your house, as I'll try too also!
xoxo!
I didn't buy caladiums this year. My neighbor has some beautiful ones, as you do, but I didn't have much luck with them for some reason. Yeah, I'd love some pansies, but I haven't seen any for sale yet.
Brenda
They are just lovely and so inviting on your steps. Your fall decorations have gotten me in the mood to get some of mine out, as well, so thanks for sharing!
I'm glad to hear you are back at school for a bit and enjoying your time, and it is so exciting to watch the little ones learn isn't it? It certainly keeps me young at heart!
Diane...
Check my latest post...for some info you'd probably like to see!

First of all, I love your "Happy Fall Ya'll" blog graphic! Fabulous. Now that I've embraced this whole garden thing, I'm hoping to plant daffodil bulbs myself. But I fear the squirrels that uprooted my my corn (grrr) will help themselves to the bulbs, too. Your caladiums look great...I think they'll be back for you next year for sure (your blog friends will remind you to go to that sale next year. :-)
Thanks for coming by - I so appreciate you stopping by so often and leaving your sweet comments! Thanks for adding me to your blogroll - I am so flattered! I have added you as well!
By the way, I love caladiums, but never seem to have any luck keeping them alive.
I love Caladiums, although they don't do well in my beach garden for some reason. Yours were beautiful!
xo Lidy
Like your pink posting Diane! There's always next year for the caladiums, right! BTW, I've tagged you for a little game. Please visit my blog for the details. :-) Susan
Those are very striking! I can see why you would regret not having any this year. Can't wait to see your daffodills in the spring.
Diane,
Beautiful pink flowers....You have a wonderful week...sorry I was late visiting...was out of town...Katherinellen
I planted this before, you just cut it off all the leaves, leave it under hot sun, water twice a day, will have a pretty one soon.
