Trash to Treasure: A New Urn

Welcome to Trash to Treasure! If you have something that is special to you that someone else didn't want, please consider creating a post and adding the link to your post to Mr. Linky below so we can all see it!

This week I would like to show you a jar or urn I bought at the Hope Village Thrift store here in town. This was only $3.00! The color looks great in my kitchen and compliments my other pottery. For now I'm using it for candy.....but may remove the lid and put utensils in it. Do any of you happen to know if it is part of a set?
There are no special markings on it-just dishwasher safe on the bottom.

Be sure to link your treasures below. I look forward to visiting each of you! Thanks for stopping by!

Cool jar! I love the green color. I have lots of trash that are treasures to me... mostly chairs!

When are you going to Greece? My husband and I are already planning our next trip to Europe and we haven't gone on the first one yet! We are pretty excited!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I appreciate your comments about our daughter - it has been a hard 2 1/2 years for her, but she is doing quite well considering they only gave her 14 months to live. She keeps saying she has to live to raise those 2 beautiful kids. She is very determined; and so far, so good! We are very blessed. Sally

Diane,
What a beautiful urn. It looks the same color of the green celadon pieces I brought home from Thailand many years ago.
Hope y'all have a Happy New Year and all the best in 2009! I am glad to see 2008 go as it has been such a horrible year in so many ways.
