A little of this and that...

I am long overdue in thanking a couple of bloggers for some very special awards. This first one was given to me by Katherinellen of Welcome to Kats Korner. If you have been reading my blog, you know that although I'm retired, I went back to work for one semester to help out with a young mom pregnant with twins. I work with mostly children having trouble with reading, and want to pass on a web site that is great for young children learning their letters. I know some of you grandmas (or mamas) may not know about this, and it would be something you could introduce your preschool child to.

It is an awesome site for learing the alphabet. I work with 4 kindergarteners at a time part of the day, and am using it with the small group. There is something about hearing a tiger roar that helps them remember T when they won't listen to anyone else! LOL
