I knew you used to teach but I didn't realize it was second grade. That is such a fun age. I have two girls (twins) coming over my house for the next three days while their mother works. I had them in kindergarten and they are going into second grade this fall. :)
By the way I like your new header!
take care,
Dawn
Thanks for stopping by my blog!
:-) We do love to travel, and wish we could travel more often. We are trying to get all our financial ducks in a row, now, so that later down the road we can travel more frequently. Paris was the most amazing place, and we also went into the Normandy area to see the WWII sites. It was the best trip and I would love to go on a trip to France to visit all the regions some day. I just loved it there. So beautiful.
So you taught second grade! I teach kindergarten, so it is always nice to meet a fellow early elementary educator. :-)
I agree with Dawn, your new header is great!

Hi, Diane ...
I love the new look of your blog ... it's very professional-looking.
I enjoyed reading your answers to the five questions tag and also enjoyed your post about the wedding. What a pretty bride and sweet looking family.
That's amazing that the stained glass windows in the church were spared. They're so beautiful.
Thank you for visiting Southern Lagniappe, and for your encouraging words.
Sincerely,
Janie
Diane,
My mother is a retired teacher...she taught 6th grade. My sister is a 4th grade teacher. Thank you all who are a teacher. You all had and have an important job. We admired you all for teaching and taking care of the children. It's take a lots of patience and time. Love your new header...it's so cute. You have a wonderful day.
Hi Diane, nice to meet you! Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment!
I see your from Mississippi...we were stationed in Biloxi for 4 year prior to Katrina...I fell in love with the south. Haven't been back since the hurricane. I'm sure my heart would be broken.
Enjoyed hearing about the wedding!

Fun things about you Diane! I did this same tag awhile ago too.
My Daughter in law teaches first grade. Thank goodness for good teachers -- you are what makes our country stay great!
I love your pretty new banner!
