Sometimes I can really be a little bit of an airhead!
This picture shows Kelli's reaction to a birthday present I bought for her a few years ago. She is looking a little exasperated because I gave her a frame just like one she already had.
To make it worse, I think I was with her when she got the first one! I love the expression on her face and the way Chad is sitting there smiling. He knows her and knows she was a little 'put out' over the gift.
I usually give her money and buy her a little happy to go with it. This year guess I had too much on my mind!
Hope everyone has a great day! Thanks for stopping by and looking at my Friday Foto. Deborah at Pictures Pots and Pens has other Friday Foto links. Be sure to stop by and see her.
Also, Kelli, my daughter, has posted some baby pics of Connor and Cooper at Sassy Southern Mom. Check it out if you have a chance!

That is too funny....I am guilty though of not remembering certain things I have bought. Did she keep it or take it back?
Can't remember Darlene...I told you I
can be an airhead! LOL
Diane, this is such a cute story and photo.
I have given people the same birthday card two years in a row.
Gotta love it, Diane ... I've "been there, done that," too!
Oh, that's funny. I am so afraid of doing that at Christmas that I keep a little notebook of everything I buy people so I don't get them the same thing the next year.
My husband gave me the same anniversary card last year and this year!
take care,
Dawn
I love that photo of your daughter. I had boys and they always just wanted cash. I'm learning with daughters-in-law and granddaughters they have different expectations and I don't know if I can match them.

That look on her face is such a typical "put out daughter look"---I know, I have one, too! :-)
Love your computer creative spot--you'll see mine on Sun.--it's a makeshift thing until I find what I want. I do like yours. I also liked how you lined the back of your cabinet with scrap paper. That makes such a huge difference! Is school going OK? Are you full-time? I worked for 20+ years as a sp. therapist---didn't retire, just quit. The paperwork and meetings did me in--plus I worked part-time around my kiddos schedules. Part-time in sp services was still full-time, plus. Hope all is OK with that. dana
You should have told her you did it on purpose...because you thought that particular frame looked better in PAIRS!!! have a great day!
Diane, I do the same thing. Money and a small gift. Your daughter's expression says it all. I am an airhead sometimes too. My daughters are always saying 'MOTHER'. I just laugh and so do they. I buy gifts and forget about them. This summer my daughter saw some eagle bookends in the guest room closet and asked me if they were for her. They were! I forgot about them. She will receive them for her birthday in Sept. LOL
I liked Nikki's response.
I am naming five people for the sweet award today. I fell asleep posting and didn't finish. LOL
Love, Jeanne
Well, now she has matching picture frames. Isn't that a good thing?
Thanks for the big smile and chuckle. I am so glad I am not the only 'airhead mom' trying to make it all happen and keep everyone happy and then make a big goof.....
The look on her face is priceless:) It must be a really nice frame that suits her personality! lol
Beth
Well, I have two adult daughters. They're always managing to look "put out" over something or other I say or do...
Brenda
Hi Diane, Don't feel bad...I am always worried about doing the same thing! Love the expression on Kelli's face...cute! :-)
Susan
LOL! I've been there and I've seen that look from my own daughters!
Thank you for participating in FFFF, Diane!
Hugs,
Deborah
Hi Diane :)
That is too funny! I've done that with cards LOL
rue
oh well Diane, you can make it up to her at Christmas ! I have done that too, hehehe
Sooo funny. And I love that you were ready with a camera, all ready to capture her "oooooo!" face, lol!!!
I've done that, and/or been with my mom shopping where one of us will say, "You should buy that!" and the other will say, "Um, I did. Last week. You were with me." :-)
Hello again, Diane,
We have two new Friday Family Foto bloggers! If you have time, would you please stop by to say "Hello" to them!
Thank you and Hugs!
Deborah
OMG... can't believe you posted this "foto" of me. I don't remember it being something i already had, but i'm definitely an airhead!!!LOL. I actually still have the frame, with a picture of Connor & Cooper in Santa's lap. I'll never get rid of it!!
Too funny. I give books to all the kids in my family and had to start keeping a list because I couldn't remember which book I had already given to whoever. It is a beautiful frame, though. No wonder she already had bought it. LOL
This photo is priceless, Dinae! Kelli's face sure does say it all! Now I know where Connor got hsi red hair :-)
Have a great weekend!
Hugs, Pat

Diane, that is funny!!! Mom...?!?!? Uh.... It is all over her face. LOL!
One can never have too many frame or too many flowers.
You could tell her that you wanted her to have one for each of her children...don't ever admit YOU made a mistake!
Hi Diane,
Thank you for the birthday wishes! I was surprised when I returned home to find my hubby had posted on my blog. I will have to change my password.lol
By the way, it's okay to have two of the same frame. Especially a nice frame like that. ;-)
