Do you like zinnias? One of my favorite pink flowers is the Profusion Zinnia. Last year I planted the orange profusion, but this year I planted the pink. These cute little daisy like flowers never fail...no matter how wet, dry or hot it is they perform all the way up to frost. They are only about 6 or 7 inches high and make great flowers for the border. These little plants are maintenance free...they don't require much of anything to grow and bloom. I usually buy the plants, but may try the seeds next year.
This picture is of the bridesmaid bouquets at the wedding we attended in June. They are pink roses. I used to grow roses years ago, but found that I didn't have what it takes to baby them! But they are still one of my favorite flowers.
Thanks for stopping by and looking at my two favorite pink flowers! Be sure to go to Beverly's at How Sweet the Sound for other pink Saturday posts! Hope everyone has a great Pink Saturday. Thanks Beverly for hosting this!

Happy PINK Saturday!
Jan
Good morning Diane,
I posted pictures of flowers too today.....Love yours and yes, roses are one of my favorites.
Happy Pink Saturday!
Morning girl! Happy Pink Saturday! I adore zinnas...my Maw Smith planted them every year in al colors by the garden...I call them old maids! lol But I have never heard of the profusion ones...oh they are beautiful...I will have to look for those next year...did you get them at Lowes or Home Depot? Oh and I love roses always have but can't grow a decent one for nothing until I found the knockout roses...girl you have got to try you one of those...I have over 20 of them now..pink and red ones..they just grow themselves and the blooms..oh my word girl..daddy counted over 200 just on one of his bushes the other day..Have a great weekend friend!
Happy Pink Saturday, Diane. I love your pink blooms. My mother used to plant zinnias when I was young, and I still love them.
I've never heard of those first flowes, I bet they are not hardy here in MI, or maybe they are sold here as annuals? hmmmmm.... I love maintenance-free plants...I find I am eager and raring to garden in the spring and early summer, but then I lose interest and so if it isn't hardy, I kill it, lol. Yeah, roses are not for me either, I do have those hardy bush kinds though, can't kill those...I think when I am older though, I would like to give roses a try :)
Have a great weekend,
Bella
Diane, I love your pink Zinas. The roses are beautiful too! I used to grow roses as well. Then got a baby. You are right. I did not have time to baby both. Still have 5 roses I think. All that is left of my roses. But being a mom is more important.
Happy PINK Saturday! :)
The zinnias are really pretty. I like low maintenance flowers. :) I'll have to give these a try!
The roses from the wedding are simply gorgeous!!!!
Happy Pink Saturday!
take care,
Dawn
Just stopping by for a peek at your pink...so glad to know about these Profusion flowers...I think that's what I might need to try next year. ;-) Brown-Eyes
Zinnias, they are happy flowers, enjoy them. Have a happy and bless week.
The zinnias are charming and the rose bouquets are so elegant!
Happy Pink Saturday!
Ohhh! Love these Pink bouquets on that table!

Happy Pink Saturday.
I found that florabundas and the old-fashioned roses don't need babying... well, a little dusting of cornmeal occasionally, but not much else. Being organic I don't have the time or chemicals to keep up with tea roses.
I love those little pink zinnias! I will have to remember to plant them next year! The bouquet photo was so precious! Happy P. Sat. Dana
Hi Diane,
Your flowers are so pretty. I like those bouquets. I bet the wedding was wonderful.
hugs,
Barb
Your Zinnias are lovely.
Happy Pink Saturay!
I planted the zinnia seeds, and they didn't even come up. I was so disappointed, as I love their colorful flowers! Next year it's the plants from the nursery for me.

What pretty pink tones! And that table setting of pink posies is simply glorious!
The flowers are lovely and I sneaked down and saw your lovely piano. I would keep it too. It is never too late to learn you know. Happy Pink Saturday.
Oh, I love the bouqets! just beautiful!!! :) Pink is so pretty!!
Love the flowers. My flowers didn't do as well this dry summer. I will jot that name down for next year!

Hi Diane, Love those rose bouquets. Roses are my favorite, but I have a hard time growing them. Happy Pink Saturday. Nancy
Even with the thorns I still love them.Love the little rose bundles at the wedding is beautiful. Kathy
Hi Diane, I am a little late for Pink Saturday but I am here. :) I love zinnias. They truly are carefree flowers. This year my DH didn't get around to plowing up a patch for my zinnias until July. ACK! LOL...I literally just threw the seeds down on the ground. I have not even watered them and we have had hardly any rain and those sweet plants are about 10 inches high now. I planted all colors and the large zinnias. Unless we have an early frost I will have zinnia flowers up until November.
What beautiful pink you've shared with us today!
I love zinnias and the rose bouquets are just beautiful. By the way keep up the blogging girlfriend. It is a much healthier way to pass the time than just watching TV. I enjoy bloggging with you and who cares what other's think. But I know how you feel because I am the sensitive about what others think as well.

Hello Diane!
Happy belated Pink Saturday! I LOVE all flowers especially if they are pink! Roses are my favorite. What a great shot of the bridesmaids flowers!
Hugs,
Maryjane
I adore zinnias! I have never heard of this kind though, and I like that you can just get *pink* ones! I usually buy seeds of mixed, they do better for me than the plants, but I just may try to get some of those plants next year! The *pink* bridal bouquets are gorgeous!
