Southern Living Thermometer

It has been unseasonably cold here in Mississippi. I stepped out the front door yesterday and the temperature on the thermometer was a chilly 27 degrees! That's cold folks for here in November!

A while back I told you I would show you my Southern Living new products a little at a time. This thermometer was one of the products I bought for 1/2 price! We really enjoy it-it is right outside the front door, and easy to check.
I had to stop a minute and snap these pictures of the ducks on the lake. It made me so thankful for my warm home! We have lots to be grateful for don't we? I wonder if they were prepared for the cold morning?
There are lots of other Thankful Thursday posts on Rhondi's blog at Rose Colored Glasses.
Hope you have a wonderful day, and I'm hoping it warms up a little here.

Morning Diane! I love that thermometer; it is soo hard to find a pretty one for outside. The lake picture is just gorgeous and should be blown up and framed; very peaceful, the mist off the water is just mesmerizing!! Have a great day - Sincerely, Jeannette

Good Morning Diane! It is unseasonably cold here too! I think it has been colder this week than it was in the dead of winter last year. LOL! Hope you are staying warm!

Great thermometer! The Southern Living stuff is really pretty! We don't have a rep around here, so I have found pieces on eBay. Great quality! ~Rhonda :)

What a beautiful view you have! I love the mist on the lake. Those duck must have great insulation! It's really cold here in central NC too. Temperatures down in the teens at night and barely into the 40s during the day--much colder than usual for this time of year, but it is putting me in the Christmas spirit.

That is cold! I am here in FL, on the coast and we broke a low the other night at 33 degrees. Ouch! That is super cold for us. But I am really enjoying it because being from AL, I miss the cold winters that Jack Frost can bring! *smiles*

As cold as it is, it looks like you live in a beautiful part of the country. To be able to step outside and look at a beautiful lake...that's my goal someday!
