Porch Party

I ran across a site having a porch party! Here are some of my quick shots of my back porch. Above: An old hollow log that has been in the family for years planted with impatients. Behind it is a Hydranga rescued a year or two ago from the sale rack at Lowe's and a piece of iron bought at a junk store.
Below:The wooden piece is an old prayer bench bought from the Green Door Antiques in Philadelphia, Ms. Pots are full of Tangerine Impatients. The tin piece is left over from the restoration of the Opera House in Meridian.
Here's the site:
I'm adding my pics in...don't know whether I'll make it to the party at the last minute, but I'll have fun looking at all the other porches! Maybe I'll get inspired!

Hi Diane. I'm glad you found my porch party. The only wayto know about such things is to happen upon it, or find it on one of the blogs you always read. In my case I made sure that I told all the bloggers I've gotten to know. Thanks for posting some photos. I'll add you to the list.
Hugs, Rhondi

Welcome to the blogging world! I just love the hollowed out log - wonder if I could get my husband to find me one next time he goes hunting. Ha! I can just see his face if I ask him to bring one home. Maybe if I showed him yours....
